OXFORD, MA: DETACHED ADU 20-011
Just a few minutes south of Worcester, this 1,000 sqft. detached ADU was built for the owner's parents who have recently retired and moved home from Arizona! The design of this ADU had to consider universal design standards, as well as endure a "special permit" process in the town.
BRIGHTON, MA: ADU 21-003 (BOSTON)
This is a 1F+ ADU (basement) being added as a basement conversion in Boston's Brighton neighborhood and will be used by future college students near Boston College. We had to add a new below-grade egress door, as well as a full buildout for the kitchen, bathroom, living space, and bedroom.
BRIGHTON, MA: ADU 20-014 (BOSTON)
A future basement-to-ADU conversion in Boston's Brighton area; we have designed, permitted, and built this large 2-bedroom ADU in the basement for a family member and care-giver! This unit has two new bedrooms, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, a kitchen, and new egress windows and doors.
DORCHESTER, MA: ADU 20-004 (BOSTON)
This basement conversion has great light and super high ceilings for an existing basement built back in 1932; this new space will be used by a family member during their time in college. This was a complete retrofit of the old basement, as we added a full bathroom, kitchen, and egress windows.
ROCKPORT, MA: ADU 20-010
This 80-year-old cottage was converted to a legal dwelling for the generational use of the family in a seaside town! With the expanded ability for the family to generate income for "three-seasons", it has greatly impacted the ability to run and maintain the larger surrounding camp!
